Daum Nancy with Plums
Daum vase, colorless glass with multicolored powdered and melted in orange-yellow, pink and dark purple. On the outer layer of plums there is some turquoise color that can be seen which are all hand carved with the wheel, engraved signature on the edge of the base DAUM NANCY. Item #4939 This vase has been in the same family since the war, it was taken off of a mantle in Paris during the war by a service member after the Germans tired unsuccessfully to take the hotel and failed, it has remained in that family of the service member until now.
