Moser Sculptured Eagle Vase
A Moser Sculpted Enameled Amethyst and Clear Glass “Eagle” Vase, c. 1885, of cylindrical form, applied high-relief eagle in flight over 3 mallard ducks. Note: Vessels with sculpted birds, such as the one here, were highly sought after in the period. Formed from a heavy gray enamel that was fired then coated and refired. Reference: Gary D.
